Students from the East High Chamber Choir were invited to participate in a workshop and performance with the women of the Des Moines Harmony Central Chorus-a barbershop group that performs and competes not only in the Des Moines area but also throughout the midwest.   Students who signed up to participate were taught their specific vocal parts in the two weeks before the event here at East.  On Saturday they joined with students from Des Moines and surrounding area in large and small group rehearsals, culminating with a public performance.
