Favorite thing about East High: I have been at East for 15 years, and I love the immense amount of diversity that we are all immersed in.
What hobbies or free time activities you enjoy: I love being a mother, reading, and swimming. I am active in church and with extra curricular activities at East. I hope to learn to knit now that my kids are in college. I love to travel with my youngest son to his triathlons and look forward to traveling with my oldest son for pure adventure and enjoyment

Favorite thing about East High: I love the energy that East brings out of people. The Staff and Students seem to bring out a positive level of energy that creates an environment of wanting to be a part of something big.

Favorite thing about East High: The students, alumni, and the many traditions
What hobbies or free time activities you enjoy: Reading, going to the movies, walking my pup, traveling, and watching football (college and NFL)
Educational Background: I began my post-secondary education journey at Simpson College in pursuit of a BA in Physical Education and Health degrees with endorsements in Special Education and Coaching. After three years, I transferred to Buena Vista University to finished my course work.
Courses you teach: I work with students with behavioral disorders. I also coach a few sports as well.
Favorite thing about East High: My favorite part of East High is how genuine it is. East can be described as a lot of things as many may know. Yet, it is a place that allows people from many different backgrounds to be themselves and have the opportunity to grow in positives ways that makes it a beautiful place.
What hobbies or free time activities you enjoy: I enjoy working out, reading books, building and spending time with my family and friends in my free time.
