What hobbies or free time activities you enjoy: My favorite free time activity is spending time with my wife and three children. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, excercising, and cheering on the Drake Bulldogs.

Favorite thing about East: My first practicum experience was at East High School. I enjoyed the students and staff at EHS so much that I decided to to become a high school science teacher.
Hobbies/Free time activities: I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, daughter, our three dogs and extended family and friends. I enjoy watching college football and White Sox baseball. Entertaining friends and family, gardening, cooking, traveling, long walks, and swimming are some of my free time activities/hobbies.

Favorite thing about East High:
It is wonderful to return to East following the completion of my first practicum in Theater here many years ago. I am thrilled to partner with East side students, teachers, and families; I immensely enjoy getting to know others, building into them, and maximizing their natural skills, gifts, and abilities. I am also drawn to the beautiful architectural design and character of this historical building. What varied stories these walls would tell if they could!
What hobbies or free time activities you enjoy:
I enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, watching movies, and good conversations and laughs around a campfire with my family. I also enjoy the challenge of tackling home improvement projects with my kids.

Hobbies/Interest: I enjoy working out, collecting sports memorabilia and watching my kids’ participate in activities.

What hobbies or free time activities you enjoy: My favorite free time activity is spending time with my husband and daughter. I also enjoy reading and watching movies.

Favorite Thing about East: The tradition and pride that surrounds the hallways. The notable alumni that pride themselves by being from the east side. I feel that by living by our motto, “For the service of humanity,” we are continuing to build life-long learners that are prepared to conquer any obstacle.
Hobbies or free time activities: I enjoy spending time with my family (wife and two boys). I also enjoy golfing, Iowa Hawkeyes, music and cooking.
